    Seven Oaks Community Spotlight: Hoffmann Hospice

    This past year has brought remarkable growth to the Seven Oaks community, from the construction of new homes to the launch of Phase II at Bolthouse Properties’ Belcourt Village and expansion within the Seven Oaks Business Park. Among the organizations flourishing in our neighborhood is Hoffmann Hospice, a non-profit dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care and support to grieving families.

    Hoffmann Hospice is taking a significant step forward with the addition of a new building, which will house its Home Medical Equipment (HME) facility. This expansion follows the organization’s acquisition of home medical equipment from another company last year, after which they upgraded much of the inventory.

    “We wanted our own HME so we could ensure our patients receive top-quality equipment and outstanding customer service,” said Ross Hoffmann, Administrator of Hoffmann Hospice. “Our goal is to provide our community with world-class service.”

    Ross further emphasized that this new building and expanded services align with Hoffmann Hospice’s commitment to keeping staff informed about the latest medical practices, techniques, and procedures. Volunteers, whom Ross affectionately calls “the hearts of our organization,” will also benefit from this expansion, as the new facility will provide additional space to accommodate the growing number of dedicated volunteers.

    In addition to their ongoing growth, Hoffmann Hospice is preparing for the annual Run to Remember on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. This event, featuring 10k, 5k, and 1-mile run/walk options, unites our community in remembrance of loved ones and supports Hoffmann Hospice’s mission to offer hospice and palliative care at no cost to patients. Participants will enjoy scenic routes that start and finish at Hoffmann Hospice on Buena Vista Road, winding through Belcourt Seven Oaks and along the Stephan J. DeBranch Memorial Trail.

    Office at The Shoppes at Seven Oaks Business Park. This state-of-the-art facility continues
    Adventist Health’s mission of providing a 5-star patient experience, comprehensive primary care
    healthcare services to the growing Seven Oaks community.

    The new Adventist Health medical office at The Shoppes at Seven Oaks Business Park is located
    at 4531 Buena Vista Drive, Suite 100. The location will be open Monday to Thursday from 7am
    to 5pm and Fridays from 7am to 4pm. They are accepting new patients by appointments and
    walk-in services will be managed based on availability.

    Led by a team of esteemed medical professionals, including a highly respected family medicine
    provider, Claudia Carranza, MD, a well-known physician assistant Enrique DeLeon, PA and a

    Over the past few months, we have welcomed several exciting new additions to our vibrant
    Seven Oaks community.

    This past Spring, Today Cleaners launched a new location at Belcourt Village Seven Oaks,
    offering the convenience of fast car-hop service, same-day drop-off and pick-up, and a 24-hour
    drop box. Customers can pick up a complimentary Express Bag personalized with an
    identification tag to ensure their clothes are correctly identified. The barcode on the tag accesses
    your account records and stores any special handling requests.

    Flower Bar’s recent relocation to Seven Oaks has brought a long-desired neighborhood florist to
    the community. Their passionate team of floral enthusiasts is dedicated to spreading joy through
    the art of flowers. With a commitment to excellence and a love for all things botanical, Flower
    Bar creates stunning arrangements for every occasion, from weddings and birthdays to everyday
    celebrations. Look out for more workshops with Flower Bar at The Point at Belcourt Village
    starting this fall.

    Several new eateries have also opened within Seven Oaks, including 19th Hole Bar & Grill and
    Mossman’s Kitchen.
    The much-anticipated 19th Hole Bar & Grill debuted just in time for summer! This family-
    friendly restaurant features an outdoor patio, bar, and dining area, offering American classics like
    salads, burgers, steak, pasta, and more. They are open Monday to Saturday starting at 11 am and
    Sundays starting at 10 am.
    A local favorite, Mossman’s, known for serving Bakersfield for 65 years, has expanded with
    Mossman’s Kitchen at Mustang Square. This new location provides more space, food, and
    growth possibilities. The restaurant offers all the classic home-style menu items customers love,
    along with location-exclusive options. “We want to bridge the gap between the older generations
    who come to our current location and the new generation who order our catering. Here we are
    doing old-school recipes with a new style,” says Amanda Goforth, general manager at
    Mossman’s Kitchen.

    passion. Born and raised in the heart of Bakersfield, Bea brings a deep-rooted love for her
    community to her role. As a mother of three beautiful daughters, she understands the importance
    of creating meaningful connections and nurturing a sense of belonging among residents.
    With over seven years of experience in event planning, including roles at the Kern County
    Museum and the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield, Bea is well-equipped to curate memorable
    experiences for the residents of Belcourt Seven Oaks. Whether it’s planning community events,
    sending out announcements, or forging relationships with local businesses, Bea’s dedication
    shines through in every aspect of her work.

    As the new coordinator Bea is excited to embark on her journey of meeting and connecting with

    this unique outdoor ride is the launch pad for the ECS Athletic Scholarship Foundation,
    a new initiative aimed at supporting aspiring athletes. The Foundation will provide
    financial support to young athletes who dream of achieving greatness in their sport but
    face financial hurdles. A minimum donation of $25 grants participants a special ride
    credit, securing their spot for this exclusive event.
